Nestled in the beautiful coastal surrounds of Little Swanport, Treehouse Vineyard is a family-owned and operated vineyard established in 2013 by Matt and Kate Carlin, with the help of their son, Tom. What began as a dream to leave city life behind and embrace a simpler way of living has grown into a truly special vineyard, centred around a family-built treehouse perched high in a magnificent eucalypt.

Operating entirely off-grid, Treehouse Vineyard is a wonderful example of sustainable, hands-on winemaking. From their owner-built home and vineyard structures made using self-milled timber to their independent power and water systems, every aspect of the property reflects the family’s commitment to living and working in harmony with their surroundings.

With just 2.5 hectares of vines at full production, the Carlin family takes a personal approach to every stage of vineyard care. Pruning, leaf plucking, fertilising and harvesting are all carried out by hand,
