Great Eastern Wine Week | 22–25 October 2026
Sip. Stay. Explore.
Topeka, 9900 Tasman Highway, Little Swanport
11am - 5:00pm
Saturday 24, Sunday 25 October
Step inside the world of Hurly Burly Wines as they open their East Coast homestead for a special Great Eastern Wine Week pop-up cellar door.
With winemaker Di Aldous at the helm, Hurly Burly crafts wines from carefully selected grapes grown along Tasmania’s pristine East Coast. Spend some time tasting your way through their award-winning range, including Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and their wonderfully named Riesling Chardonnay blend, “Madge”.
Behind the wines is a story with plenty of personality. Hurly Burly takes its name and inspiration from the family’s ever-active guinea fowl, known for happily socialising, foraging and creating their own little hurly-burly among the vines.
Great Eastern Wine Week is your invitation to come through the gates, meet the people behind the label and enjoy these wines in the place that inspired them.
After all, the guinea fowl seem to have the right idea — good company, plenty of chatter and time to eat, drink and enjoy life.
