Pinot + Pizza — a pretty perfect way to spend an afternoon on Tasmania’s East Coast.

Maclean Bay Vineyard is opening its little Bicheno cellar door across the weekend, pouring a delicious selection of estate-grown wines alongside freshly made wood-fired pizza.

Taste your way through Sparkling Rosé, Pinot Rosé and Pinot Noir, including Maclean Bay’s own handcrafted Basket Pressed Pinot Noir, while the wood-fired oven is firing and pizzas are coming out throughout the day.

Small in size but big on character, Maclean Bay Vineyard produces exceptional quality Pinot grapes, with owners Scott and Sonia crafting their wines in small batches. Great Eastern Wine Week is a wonderful opportunity to meet the people behind the wines, taste them where they’re grown and stock up the cellar with a few favourites while you’re there.
