Boomer Creek derives its name from the local wildlife, with a ‘boomer’ being a large male kangaroo.

First settled in the early 1800’s, Boomer Creek is a third generation family farm operated by the Walters family. Producers of boutique award winning Tasmanian wine, fine wool Merino sheep, Hampshire sheep for the lamb market, Hereford cattle and a 3 hectare olive grove.

At our cellar door you can immerse yourself amongst some of our farming operations and landscape and partake in a tasting of our wines at our featured Huon Pine bar, which resides in our architecturally designed and family built cellar, featuring many of Tasmania’s finest timbers all hand crafted from scratch

Taste award-winning cool climate wines made 100% from grapes produced on site of our property. With Tasmanian cheese platters available to accompany our wines and all whilst looking over the beautiful country landscape and ocean view of part of the Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania’s central East Coast.
