Priory Ridge is a boutique vineyard in the fertile farming district of Priory and is within a short drive of the iconic Bay of Fires and St Helens region. The rich Devonian soil, unique in Tasmanian vineyards, transfers a special ‘terroir’ to our wines.

Our cool climate grape varieties of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer are meticulously maintained with attention to detail.

Hand-picked, the Pinot Noir is allowed to mature in French Oak for over 12 months undertaking natural malolactic conversion.

The Sauvignon Blanc is naturally fermented in oak barrels in the French tradition.

Our small quantity of Gewurztraminer has been added to our Pinot Gris, producing a special blend with added character and flavour.

As you savour the depths of flavour of our hand-crafted cool climate wines you can take in the ambience of the adapted 1900’s shearing shed. Within this bush pole structure with original iron roof, visitors can enjoy the pictorial history of yesteryear activity of early settlers to the Priory district.
