GREAT EASTERN WINE WEEK 2026

Follow the coastline. Meet the people. Taste the place.

Across four days each October, the East Coast comes together to celebrate the season.
Great Eastern Wine Week is a collection of intimate experiences spread across more than 220 kilometres of coastline—from vineyard tastings and long lunches to conversations with winemakers, shared tables and unforgettable places.
It’s an opportunity to meet the growers, makers and local producers behind the region’s wines, while exploring the landscapes that inspire them.
Make time to ride the world-class mountain bike trails of St Helens, wander the white sands of the Bay of Fires, discover Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay, or spend a day exploring Maria Island. Then return to a vineyard as the afternoon light settles across the vines.
Great Eastern Wine Week is more than a festival. It’s an invitation to experience Tasmania’s East Coast through its wine, its people and the places that stay with you long after you’ve left.

Festival dates: 22–25 October 2026
